Annai Ullam - Home for elder people

Abandoning the aged persons is alarming every day.

They are ill-treated by their family since they are unproductive.

They are not in position to contribute anything economically to their families.

They need a support to take care of them.

But unfortunately there are no services available in their areas.

They are also suffering from many diseases such as diabetic, cataract etc.

The inmates in our home totally.

Annai Ullam, is a registered Non-Government Organisation (NGO), that takes care of the homeless elderly people. The aim of this organisation is to provide food, shelter, clothes and medical care for the homeless elder people in India.  

Mr. A.S.Munavar Basha is currently running this organisation in a rental building to look after the abandoned parents and senior people in distress to live peacefully for the rest of their life.  

We are looking for volunteers to continue the service,

You can sponsor food for the elderly people.  You can pay for a meal for a day or buy them food by yourself.  

You can visit them and celebrate your wedding anniversary or birthdays with them. That will cheer them up! 

You can contribute in helping the elder people by providing them food, clothes, medicines, fruits, biscuits, groceries, cot, bed, pillows, bed sheets, etc., 

Help us to enhance the medical facilities for them. Your donations will be helpful in getting vans for taking old people to the hospitals

Rough estimate on the expenses incurred on daily basis

Food three times a day for 30 members              Rs.2500 per day

Breakfast for 30 members                                     Rs. 800 per day

Lunch for 30 members                                           Rs. 1000 per day

Dinner for 30 members                                          Rs. 800 per day

Rough estimate on the expenses incurred on monthly basis

Food Expenses                                                       Rs 75,000 per month

Medical aid                                                              Rs.45,000 per month

Toilet items                                                             Rs. 1000 per month

Travelling charges (public vehicle)                     Rs. 6,000 per month
